2nd year I've run the Half Marathon and although slightly biased as it's my home town race, the fact remains it's a well organised, challenging race, suitable for all abilities. I'll definitely be taking part again in 2025.

Really good event. I liked the course, it's not entirely flat but mostly only slight, shortish inclines, certainly not enough to call it undulating. It'd certainly be possible to get a PB here. Much of it is just running along streets, but there are nice sections in a park, over the bridge and alongside the river. Great support from the crowd and volunteers too. With 200m to go I had nothing left for a sprint finish, but then a crowd cheered my name (printed on race number) and it spurred me on to find something extra. Nice atmosphere in the event village as well, and pretty good post-event swag, including a nice t-shirt and plenty of snacks/drinks. You could also get a 10-15 minute massage for £5! I'll probably sign up for next year.

1st time I've ran the half marathon but won't be the last. Very well organised, lots of enthusiasm at the start line on the PA, challenging course at times with inclines scattered around which make it all the more rewarding. Easy access to medal and good quality t-shirt at the finish line.

Very nice and warming atmosphere! This year's 5k was my first race in my adult's life and I really enjoyed it. There were many superheroes running far in the front, and many superheroes running at the back with no age limits. Noone is worse or better, you go there for fun and try to do what you can. This is how I felt. The crew were very helpful and kind. Thank you for a nice time together.
