2.5k loop around Elder Park. Flat and fast rote.

What's Included

Your entry includes everything you need for a fantastic Friday night race experience at Elder Park. All participants will receive a professionally organised and fully chip-timed 5K or 10K event, with accurate results and finish times available after the race.
Runners can expect a lively event atmosphere with music, warm-up activities, water stations, friendly marshals, medical support, and a fully marked course. Every finisher will receive a medal at the finish line, along with post-race refreshments.

How to Get There

Elder Park is located on the south side of Glasgow, just a short distance from the city centre and easily accessible by public transport, car, bike, or on foot.

By Subway: The nearest subway station is Govan Station, approximately a 10-minute walk from the event village and start area.

By Train: Partick and Exhibition Centre stations are nearby and connected via local bus routes and walking paths.

By Bus: Multiple First Bus services operate throughout the area with stops close to Elder Park and Govan Road.

By Car: Limited street parking is available around Elder Park and surrounding areas. Please allow extra time on race day and consider using public transport where possible.

By Bike & Foot: The park is connected to Glasgow’s riverside walking and cycling routes, making it easy to access actively. Bike parking will be available within the event village area.

Parking

Free parking is available in surrounding streets near Elder Park; however, spaces may be limited on event evening due to local traffic and other park users. Participants are encouraged to arrive early and consider using public transport where possible.
Please park responsibly and avoid blocking residential driveways, access points, or restricted areas. There is no dedicated event car park onsite, so car sharing is recommended where possible. Accessible parking options will be available nearby for blue badge holders.

Location

Elder Park is easily accessible from Glasgow city centre and offers a scenic riverside setting for a summer evening race. The event village, start/finish area, toilets, bag drop, and refreshments will all be located within the park.

The course will use a mixture of park paths and riverside routes, providing a flat and fast route ideal for runners of all abilities.
