Fri 25th December 2020

Organiser's Description
Complete the 12 runs of Christmas (or more runs if you wish) of any distance between 1 & 25 December and earn yourself a special Christmas tree medal decoration.
But wait, there’s myrrh… the challenge includes an optional distance element with a bespoke digital certificate awarded to anyone who completes a distance award. The challenge starts on 1 December and ends on 25 December, and you can join the challenge anytime from now up to Tuesday 8 December at 10am, when entries close.
It costs £15 to join – your entry fee includes a unique finishers medal, access to training plans & tips, access to our online tracking tool, and support throughout the challenge.
There is a separate Christmas challenge for runners aged 14 years and under: The Little Star challenge is for ages 9 & under, and The Nightmare Before Christmas challenge is for ages 10 to 14 years.
The weather outside is frightful, but this delightful challenge will fire you up to keep on running through December! Whether you run in elf-isolation, or sign up with your tinsel troupe, may all your miles be merry!
What's Included
It costs £15 to join – your challenge joining fee includes a unique finishers medal, access to training plans & tips, access to our online tracking tool, and support throughout the challenge.
How It Works
1 - Enter the Challenge any time until 8 December
2 - Start running from 1 December
3 - Keep a track of your 12 (or more!) runs
4 - Complete the challenge by 25 December
5 - Submit your final results to receive your digital certificate
Logging Your Runs
You can choose to log your runs as you go through the challenge using our online run tracker. This will make tracking your progress and submitting your challenge results easier. To do this you will need to enter your Great Run registration ID, which can be found on your entry confirmation email, and date of birth.
Alternatively, you can choose to keep track of your runs yourself using your own tracking device or app, and simply visit the results submission page at the end of the challenge. If you choose this option you will need to enter your total running time, total distance, upload a (optional) screenshot of your activity, and confirm that you have completed the challenge. Your digital certificate is available to download as soon as you submit your results.
For the Nightmare before Christmas junior challenge you can use the tracker sheet, or your own tracker, to keep a track of your activity and then submit results at the end to receive a personalised digital certificate
