Great Run

The Great Run Series includes over 20 run events including the Great North Run, the world’s biggest half-marathon. More than 230,000 participants of all ages and abilities take part in a Great Run event each year to set themselves challenges, run for fun, improve fitness, aim to beat their PB, or raise funds for an important cause.

The events programme stretches across the UK from Glasgow to Portsmouth, offering a full range of distances from 1km Family Runs right through to a half marathon.

The Great Swim Series includes the Great North Swim in the stunning Lake District, and the Great East Swim set in Alton Water in Ipswich. For over ten years Great Swim has provided thousands of swimmers with exhilarating, challenging and safe events. With swim distances ranging from 250 metres right up to a 10k, there is a distance for every age and every ability.
