Race alongside the Thames with support from fantastic marshals and enjoy a route designed to inspire PBs and personal achievements. As always, the course begins and ends at the iconic Temple Island Meadows.

Do not underestimate the trails and elevation of this race. The route involved one small lap and two big laps. There was a smallish hill that you had to do 3 times and an enormous hill that you had to do twice (I saw two people throwing up at the top of it). Probably half of the course is trails through trees and over tree roots and through fields etc. This is not a route for a PB if you’re used to flat, paved running (like me 🥲). Don’t wear your fancy carbon plated race shoes but you don’t necessarily need trail runners- something in the middle. That all being said, It is a gorgeous location and well organised with great marshals.
Lovely run, hills quite challenging but it adds to the adrenaline rush...Defo recommend trail trainers...I did this 2024 and the route has changed to a harder route, on saying that I knocked 17 mins of my time and a sub 2hr so PRs are achievable...Super friendly helpful staff...Highly recommend....
Great fun, the 10k was a varied course with different terrains and some hills with bite, the towpath by Henley was flooded so you were running in deep water up to your calf's but it all added to the day, plenty of staff' toilets and loads of free parking right next to the event village, well worth doing and you might even get a sunny day.
