The run routes

Both the 5k and 3k routes are traffic free trail* routes and explore a section of the beautiful National Trust grounds surrounding Killerton House. The combination of off-road running with road cycling has proven a hit with previous competitors.

Complete the 5k route before the bike leg and 1 lap of the shorter 3k out and back route on return.

*Note, the trail routes can and do get wet and muddy with rain, but that helps make the race even more memorable and fun!!!

The cycle route

The cycle route is a straightforward out and back over fast rolling roads that have been used as a regular time trial course for many years. With only two quiet junctions to negotiate out and back, and a roundabout as the turning point, the route is ideal for getting into your cycling rhythm and keeping an eye on the opposition!

Really, really well organised, nice trail run for both runs, cycle was straightforward although the road surface wasn’t great. The whole event was well marshalled and everyone was really friendly and helpful. Would definitely do it again.

A really well organised event. The trail runs were great run and well marked. The cycle was an easy out and back route so it was easy to track other competitors although the road surface was a bit bumpy! Great event. Everyone was very helpful and friendly.
