Course Details
Long Route: 159km, 3763m
One of the toughest rides in the UK. We start in the heart of the Peak District in Hope and get straight into it with Winnats Pass before heading West to near Whaley Bridge and south along the picturesque River Goyt with a long 5km climb.
After a lumpy section to Bakewell, the last 55km feature 2 big climbs before a finishing loop up Mam Tor before a fast descent back into Hope for a well earned medal.
Medium Route: 113km, 2843m
A very challenging medium route around the heart of the Peaks. Starting out from Hope, we waste no time in getting into the business end with Winnats Pass starting within the first 3km.. After this monster (1.5km at 12%), we head South West along the Goyt Valley for a long, gentle 5km climb.
It’s mostly downhill & rolling to Bakewell before one last climb of Longstone Edge and a fast descent home for a well earned medal.
