Organiser's Description

Where long runs feel lighter.

A weekly community run designed to take make the longest miles that bit easier. Five pace groups. Good people. Great energy. Backed by some of the biggest names in the game.

You don’t need to be chasing a marathon to join. Just turn up, run your miles, and be part of something bigger.

Week 8 distance: 24km

We’re building endurance again this week. The structure is 14km easy, 8km steady, then 2km easy. The steady section should feel controlled and confident, not forced. Think patience early and consistency through the middle.

HOW IT WORKS

Starting Sunday 18 January, The Long Run kicks off a 14-week training block leading up to the London Marathon. Each group is supported by dedicated Long Run leaders. People who know the route, hold the pace, and make sure no one is left behind.

WE RUN ON SUNDAYS

Every Sunday, we’ll lace up and hit the road, starting and finishing at The Clubhouse. Group 1 sets off at 7:45am, but exact times, routes, and run leaders drop in your inbox every Thursday. After the miles, coffee’s on our friends Origin Coffee.

Don’t forget to sign in each week to unlock exclusive rewards from our partners. The more you run, the more you earn.

I always had to do my weekly long runs on my own, bored, no one to talk to. Just running half marathons alone. Then came along The Clubhouse and their long runs. The lovely run leaders, free gels from TrueFuels and coffee and banter after. It's such a great vibe. Love it.
