The Pilgrim’s Reckoning is an 81-mile ultramarathon along the historic Bunyan Way, running through Bedfordshire. It’s a demanding but rewarding journey that tests endurance, patience and determination.
Inspired by John Bunyan, author of The Pilgrim’s Progress, the course follows the route he travelled linking towns, villages, farmland and ancient trackways. Runners will experience a varied but accessible mix of open countryside, rolling farmland, woodland trails, road sections and long, highly runnable stretches.
This is a fully supported Thunder Races ultra, with clear course signs, experienced staff and a focus on getting runners safely and confidently to the finish.
