From the organisers that founded Long Course Weekend and Ironman Wales, an even with a huge atmosphere hits the shores of Pembrokeshire in West Wales - The Wales SwimRun.

Heading into its second year in the stunning Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, with a new distance for 2021, The Wales Swim Run combines a real challenge with an incredible community feel for all entrants. A combination of swimming 7k and running 24k all whilst tied to your partner = communication is key.

Taking in the incredible sites on the rugged Pembrokeshire clifftops you will enjoy views of the rolling hills and blue waters surrounding Manorbier, Lydstep, Amroth, and Tenby to name but a few.

Do i have to be in a team?
Yes - there MUST be two people in your team or you will not be allowed to race.

What Aids are we allowed?
Hand Paddles & swim buoys are allowed.
Tow Floats are optional.
No flippers

Do I need a swim cap?
You must wear the Activity Wales Events swim cap provided for the event. This will be given to you at Registration.

What is the minimum age to enter The Wales Swimrun?
The minimum age is 18 years of age.

Where are the feed stations?
The Feed Stations will be placed at Manorbier, Lydstep, Tenby and Saundersfoot

Run 1 - Morris Mile (Freshwater East) - Freshwater East Bay - 1.9k

Swim 1 - Freshwater East Bay - 930m

Run 2 - Freshwater East Bay - Manorbier - 4k

Swim 2 - Manorbier Bay – Manorbier Beach - 920m

Run 3 – Manorbier Beach - Lydstep -4.85k

SPRINT DISTANCE START - Lydstep Haven ( RUN 630m)

Swim 3 - Lydstep Beach - 900m

Run 4 - Lydstep – Tenby Esplanade - 5.78k

Swim 4 – Tenby Esplanade – Castle Beach - 870m

Run 5 - Castle Beach – North Beach - 1.14k

Swim 5 - North Beach - Waterwynch - 1.12km

Run 6 - Waterwynch – The Glen - 4.33k

Swim 6 – Swallow Tree – Wisemans Bridge - 2.1k

Run 7 - Wisemans Bridge to Amroth - 2.16k

Last Swim (If you can beat the Tide)/Run - Amroth to Finish - 1000m
