The York 5k, 10k and Half Marathon Winter Warmer Run

Get ready York to Run around the stunning York Racecourse! Most of the course is on tarmac but there are sections that you run on trail! Course details: Flat with a few undulating sections - dog friendly - mix of trail with muddy sections and also paths - 5k is one lap and the 10k is two laps and the half marathon is an initial 1.1k out and back before 4 full laps - course not suitable for wheelchair users - Off road running buggies are ok.

Our York 5k and 10k Winter Warmer Run starts at 10am and the half marathon will start at 9am.

You collect on the morning of the event. Registration will be open from 8.00am and will close at 9.50am so please arrive nice and early.

Race information will be sent by email pre-event and all your race details can be found within your online profile. Once registered login to check race updates, news, partner offers and more.

You will be using our Chip on Bib race numbers and it is important these are displayed on your outer garment to ensure 1) We can see your race number when running and 2) To help with the timing system to read your time.

Bag storage is available at the event however space is limited so travel as lightly as possible.

Toilets will be within the event hub and ensure you go with plenty of time to spare to avoid long queues.

Coffee and snacks will be available for sale within the event hub.

Please note that the the 5k and 10k are being set off together. We ask that faster runners come in first to the start line and we will do our best to call in runners by predicted time. Please help us as much as possible as this will help all runners be set in the right place at the start based on run pace.

There will be marshals around the course to support and encourage you.

Please take care when running around the course as this is public land and local residents will be out and about. Please always stay on the left unless otherwise guided.

If wearing headphones please make sure you can hear other people around you and marshal instructions.

Water will be available at the start and finish as well as at the 5k section for 10k runners. Please note we are working on being environmentally friendly as possible and will not have bottled water, only cupped water. If you require a bottle whilst running please do bring your own. Thank you.
