Runners in the half marathon will enjoy a single loop using the Windmill Route, making it a fantastic choice for both seasoned athletes and those aiming for their first marathon GFA (Good For Age) place. With aid stations offering drinks and snacks every 10k, plus a bespoke medal for all finishers, this event promises to be rewarding and memorable. Please note that the Zig Zag Marathon is a cupless event, so be sure to bring your own reusable bottles or cups for refilling. The Zig Zag Marathon & Half Marathon
Come and join us at our exclusive venue at Suffolk Running Centre, Church Road, Bury St Edmunds, IP29 5AX
It's a seven-hour cut off with a mass start at 9am.
We will be utilizing the Kirtling Route.
The Kirtling Marathon route is is an officially measured route, which is fully on road, mildly undulating and very scenic,
The half marathon will also be one loop and we will be using the Windmill Route

There will be an aid station of drinks and nibbles every 10k.
Parking is also included in your entry price.
The Race HQ/Base Camp is located at the start and Lap point and at the base camp we will have our water/aid station.
We have designed a Bespoke medal for the event, which you will receive at the end of the race. Or if you choose the lucky dip finisher option (if available), you will choose from a selection of previous or finisher medal.
This route is all road, they are quiet roads however, you will need to be aware of traffic when stepping out and ideally wear something bright
