Course Description

This is a two lap, anti-clockwise route that is mainly flat, the route is mostly tarmac with some gravel paths and section of woodland trail. The route starts by the football fields near the clock tower and passes by the BMX track and model village areas before following the park boundary alongside East Park Drive. It then moves onto the woodland trail which is twisty and in places narrow, before re-joining the tarmac paths as it heads towards the lake where it bears left and follows the edge of the lake towards the bandstand. The route goes left across the front of the bandstand and up the gravel path, it continues around to the right near the rear of the bandstand. The route then goes left and heads through the rose garden and turns right at the pavilion towards the clock tower. At the clock tower you go to the left and then left again to start the second lap. At the end of the second lap the finish is to the right hand side as you head back towards the clock tower after exiting the rose garden.

Toilets are available at the Stanley Park Sports Centre.
