COVID-19 INFORMATION
COVID-19
We are following current UK Government guidelines in delivering trail running trips. They are conducted in line with England Athletics guidelines to ensure your safety. In addition, you will need to carry with you (not wear) on all of our trips until further notice a face covering.
At Run the Wild we have appointed Simon James as COVID-19 Officer. Within this role a risk assessment has been completed, and will be updated, for all UK events with specific regard to COVID-19 and a COVID-19 action plan put in place, in addition to our standard risk assessments. Any updates to Government Guidance will be monitored, and procedures adjusted accordingly, and a COVID-19 secure environment will be maintained. All clients are asked to confirm they are exhibiting no symptoms prior to coming to a Run the Wild event. All guides carry a mask and hand sanitisers, and have been briefed on COVID-19 protocols in case of an emergency situation where the administering of first aid is required.
What we ask of you, the client:
We require you to bring with you a face covering (this will be checked). They are purely for emergencies, and not for running in, for example if you needed to receive first aid.
Please do not attend the event if it requires you to break any government guidelines, this includes, but is not limited to, travel to/from the event, breaking self-isolation or household isolation either due to illness or recent arrival from abroad. It’s extremely important that if you are feeling unwell or display any symptoms either for COVID or any illness you must not attend!
Good hygiene must be practised at all times. This includes a strict policy of no spitting while running.
THE RUN THE WILD COVID-19 REFUND GUARANTEE:
At Run the Wild we are passionate about getting you out onto the trails. If you book directly with us on any of our trips and if Run the Wild have to cancel or postpone a trip due to COVID-19 government restrictions you can either postpone your place free of charge or receive a full refund less booking fees (this equates to around 97% refund). This is in addition to our Terms & Conditions.
