Join us for a brilliant day of running at Inverleith Park, one of Edinburgh’s most scenic green spaces, for a fun, inclusive running event for all ages and abilities.

The event features a 5K and 10K race on fast, fully marshalled routes within the park, making it ideal for first-timers chasing their first finish as well as experienced runners looking for a strong effort in a beautiful setting. Course Details

A fast and scenic parkland course set in the heart of Edinburgh. The route follows smooth paths and open parkland with mostly flat terrain, making it ideal for runners of all abilities and those aiming for a personal best while enjoying stunning views of the city skyline.

What's Included

Your entry includes everything you need for a fantastic race experience at Inverleith Park. All participants will receive a professionally organised and fully chip-timed event, with accurate results and finish times available shortly after the race.

Runners can expect a scenic and well-marked course, friendly marshals, water stations, medical support, music, and a lively event atmosphere throughout the evening. Every finisher will receive a medal at the finish line, along with post-race refreshments.

How to Get There

Inverleith Park is located just north of Edinburgh city centre and is easily accessible by public transport, car, bike, or on foot. The event village and start/finish area will be based within the park, providing a central and scenic location for runners and spectators.

By Bus: Regular Lothian Bus services operate throughout the surrounding area, with several stops located within a short walking distance of the park entrances.

By Train: Edinburgh Waverley and Haymarket stations are both within easy reach via local bus routes, taxi services, or cycling connections.

By Car: Inverleith Park can be accessed easily from Ferry Road, Inverleith Row, and surrounding routes. Limited parking is available in nearby residential streets, so participants are encouraged to arrive early and consider public transport or car sharing where possible.

By Bike & Foot: The park is connected to Edinburgh’s walking and cycling network, including nearby cycle paths and routes from the city centre. Bike parking will be available within the event village area.

Please allow extra travel time on race evening and follow all event signage and marshal instructions on arrival.

Parking

Limited parking is available around Inverleith Park and surrounding residential streets; however, spaces may be busy on event evening, particularly during good weather and peak times. Participants are encouraged to arrive early and consider using public transport, cycling, walking, or car sharing where possible.

Please park responsibly and avoid blocking residential access, driveways, cycle lanes, or restricted areas. There is no dedicated large-scale event car park onsite, so all local parking regulations and signage must be followed.

Inverleith Park is one of Edinburgh’s most scenic and popular green spaces, located just a short distance from the city centre with stunning views across the Edinburgh skyline.
