Organiser's Description
Jurassic Coast 75-Mile Challenge
Abbotsbury to Studland Bay | 3 Days | 75 Miles
Take on one of the UK’s most iconic endurance treks — 75 miles along the dramatic Jurassic Coast, from Abbotsbury to the official finish at Studland Bay. This 3-day challenge combines raw coastal beauty, steep ascents, and endless sea views with the satisfaction of completing one of Britain’s toughest short-distance treks.
Day 1: Abbotsbury → Lulworth Cove (25 miles)
Your journey begins in the coastal village of Abbotsbury. The route climbs and dips through Chesil Beach, West Bay, and over the mighty Golden Cap — the highest point on England’s south coast — before finishing at the stunning Lulworth Cove.
Day 2: Lulworth Cove → Kimmeridge (25 miles)
Pass Durdle Door and continue along remote cliff paths and fossil-rich bays, taking in some of Dorset’s most dramatic coastal scenery before reaching the quiet and rugged Kimmeridge Bay.
Day 3: Kimmeridge → Studland Bay (25 miles)
The final push takes you past Chapman’s Pool, Dancing Ledge, and Durlston Head before arriving at Old Harry Rocks — the gateway to Studland Bay and the official finish of the Jurassic Coast. Celebrate your achievement with views that stretch across the English Channel.
