Really enjoyed taking part in the Newark Half Marathon!
The organisation was excellent, the route was enjoyable and relatively flat, and there were well-placed water stations along the way. Overall, it was a really positive experience and a great event to be part of
The only slight disappointment was that despite being advertised as a closed-road race, I encountered a number of cars and some rather arrogant cyclists on the course which was frustrating
That aside, it was a very well organised event and one I’d happily recommend
