Organiser's Description

This Hexham race provides runners with a great opportunity to earn themselves a 10k personal best! The course begins on the scenic outskirts of Hexham, before returning on the largely flat Corchester Lane. As one of Northumberland's largest road races, this event sells out each year, so make sure to register now to avoid disappointment.

Course Details

The course is out and back with the turn point on the west side of Corbridge.

What's Included

Medal for every finisher
Individual prizes:
Top 3 men and women
First Veteran in each age group (M40+ and L35+) (Minimum of 5 in an age group for 1st to qualify for a prize. Top 3 do not qualify for age group prizes)
Team prizes:
First male & female team (runners must be wearing their club vest to count, at the discretion of the race referee)

  • Full Road closures
  • Bag frop and toilets at race HQ (Tyne Green)
  • Parking at Wentworth Leisure Centre

  • Minimum Age

    15yrs

  • When do I receive my race pack?

    We do not send anything in the post. All race packs (numbers and chips) can be collected on the day of the race from the race HQ

  • How long do I have to complete my race?

    As a guideline please look at the below times. If we are holding multiple races on the day you will have up until the cut off of the longest race to complete your run. 10k - 1 hour 30 minutes Half Marathon - 3 hours Marathon - 6 hours

Noonesfault. But event due to bad weather cancelled. However I've recieved no email to say when it's going to be rearranged. I also recieved email 8.05am on race day in which preparation email said to be there 8.30am. Could someone please get back to me to state when the rearrange race is. Thank you
