Organiser's Description

Situated in 400 hectares of rolling countryside in the valley of the River Clyde, the course lies over endless stretches of mature woodlands and rough wetlands.

Spanning one or two laps over flat ground, it is ideal for runners of all abilities. In Strathclyde Country Park on the roads/paths around the park, the race is on a fast flat course.

Come and take up the challenge in this new RUN SCOTLAND event.

Numbers are collected on the day between 8.30am and 9.45am

Chip timed with a Medal for all finishers.

Well marshaled and sign posted. A great atmosphere. Bespoke medal. Water, sweets and biscuits at the end if run. What more do you want.

First 10k for me. Seemed well organised but the addition of portable loos would be appreciated. Only 3 ladies toilets in the watersports building...not enough. Thanks for organising the sunshine though! 🌞

Enjoyed event and atmosphere. I had registered and paid with Find a Race but my name was not on the list of participants. Helpful Run Nation staff gave me a spare number and allowed me to run.

Well organised event. Good use of distance markers and the staff done well describing the layout of the route… thoroughly enjoyed!
