Inexpensive, good location, car parking not extortionate. Route was nice enough but don’t see how they can say it’s a great place to get a PB. Spent so much time dodging kids on bikes, dogs off lead, walkers also trying to avoid all the mud & puddles and cars trying to get in and out of the car park. Made it very difficult to get around people and therefore race properly. Would’ve been great if route closed to public but I get this isn’t doable. Probably wouldn’t do again for this reason.

Thanks for the constructive criticism, we take on board what you are saying and we value all your points.
Unfortunately there is little we can do with the public entering / walking round the park as it is a space we must share with everyone, but I understand how it can be frustrating. We try to keep the paths clear by getting marshals to instruct the public to make way for the runners. We will continue to figure out solutions to limit this in the future.
