The Advent 100k/50k Virtual Challenge

Virtual Event

United Kingdom

Fri 25th December 2020

Organiser's Description

Advent is all about counting down to Christmas. This Challenge is all about counting up those kilometres! Your gleaming medal is not just for Christmas, it’s for life! Register a total of 100k before Christmas day to complete the Challenge.

It’s your decision how you tackle this Challenge. You can complete it in as many segments as you like (or as few!). Although the Challenge may seem daunting to many of us, 100k spread out across 24 days is just over 4k per day. You can run, jog, cycle or walk – anything you like, we don’t mind! However you decide to complete your 100k, we look forward to following your progress.

We have a magnificent advent calendar themed bespoke medal for everyone who completes the Challenge. Prizes will be given for those who run the furthest – so you don’t have to stop at 100k! When the Challenge begins on December 1st you can start clocking those miles - and your target is to complete 100km in 24 days, with the final date for entry to the Challenge being the 24th December.

This is a family-friendly event, for our younger runners and those new to running, we have a 50k option. Enter as a family (there is a discounted price for family groups) and, in addition to a bespoke medal each, there will be spot prizes awarded to families!
