SPEECH HOUSE
We return to the spectacular Forest of Dean for 2023 with three routes on offer designed to suit any level of trail runner. The routes start from Speech House - a 17th Century Hunting Lodge and Verderers Court - and immediately head into the ancient woodlands of the Forest of Dean.
Regardless of which distance you enter, all routes are predominantly on wide forest tracks which will make for fast running due to it’s largely un-technical nature. However don’t be fooled as there are still plenty of hills, it is a Maverick event after all. All three routes have their fair share of lung-busting ascents and sweeping descents to give your legs a real workout.
We certainly hope you're up for a brand new adventure and that we see you on the start line in the Forest of Dean come May.
