Organiser's Description
This prestigious, demanding and much sought after ‘half iron distance' event will take place at the beautiful Alderford Lake (formerly Dearnford Lake) venue in Whitchurch, Shropshire. If a long distance triathlon is not for you then this Ultimate 1/2 may be. Freshwater lake swim with no current and no weed; picturesque countryside cycle and run routes. Probably the fastest 'half iron distance' in the country, ideal for PBs. Chip timed. Relay options available. Spectator friendly venue, great for supporting friends and family.
