Our fun & friendly events are open to everyone and an ideal introduction for beginners to the sport of triathlon.

The York Triathlon offers a supportive environment, with cheering crowds and a fun & relaxed atmosphere meaning everyone enjoys the day, competitors and friends & family alike.

We can offer lots of support and online beginners advice to help make your Triathlon the best it could possibly be for you. As well as a great atmosphere, you are sure to gain a special sense of achievement as you cross the finish line to receive that all-important “finishers” medal and confirmation the end result was worth every bit of hard work!

CRUK WAVE

UK Triathlon and Cancer Research UK are proud to announce the launch of the CRUK Wave 2023. The CRUK Wave is aimed at encouraging more participants, of any age, gender or ability, to unite and take on a challenge for the purpose of funding life-saving research into all 200 types of cancer.
This change comes after the success of the UK Triathlon Pink Wave, it reflects the movement towards a more inclusive environment for all participants who want to complete a triathlon at their own speed, whilst raising money for life-saving research.
We want to encourage everyone to have a go! Any age, any ability, just get together for the camaraderie and challenge, whilst raising vital funds for research into beating cancer.

UK Triathlon will be donating £10 from every CRUK Wave entry back to Cancer Research UK.

Such a fantastic atmosphere Even though in the pouring rain. All the Marshalls so supportive and cheering you on, whatever your standard is, it doesn’t matter. As a mid sixties granny it’s great to have the opportunity to ‘Tri ‘ as it’s a personal challenge just to complete it. Brilliant
