The image shows a turquoise t-shirt with an illustrated seagull wearing running shoes and a race bib, with the text "What are you running for?" to the side. A similar seagull mascot is displayed on the right side, noting "Female & Male Cut!" in a speech bubble. A group of marathon runners jogs down a city street flanked by historic buildings. Runners are wearing numbered bibs and various athletic gear, including hats, sunglasses, and bright sneakers. A domed building stands prominently in the background. A crowd of runners participating in the Worthing Run-Fest are seen crossing the starting line on a street lined with spectators, signage, and historic buildings. The event banners and volunteers direct and cheer on the participants. A pebbled beach with wet stones leads to a pier extending over the water. The pier has a building on it, with the sea stretching out into the distance under an overcast sky. Waves gently touch the shore. Buildings border the street, including shops and housing, with a pier extending into the sea. Three runners are approaching the finish line of a street race in an urban area. Spectators line the sides, cheering and taking photos. A blue banner overhead reads "Worthing RunFest" against a backdrop of buildings. Aerial view of a coastal town featuring a long pier stretching into the sea and a sandy beach with waves coming ashore. Buildings, roads, and greenery make up the busy town, while a partly cloudy sky looms overhead. The town extends inland with numerous structures visible. Two young girls wearing blue denim jackets and race bibs with numbers 098 and 086 smile for a photo. They have gold medals around their necks. A photographer in an orange vest takes their picture. I've ran this race for the last 3 years and it gets better and better. The T-shirts and medals this year were very special and I celebrated with a free prosecco at the after-party. The course is flat and lined up with DJ's and entertainment on the course. See you next year!
Thanks for your review! Hope to see you next year!

Had an injury which meant I had to dial back training. Requested to change from HM to 10K a few weeks in advance. Answer was ‘no’ because they’d already submitted my details to chip company, disappointing but it is what it is. What bugged me is that it was still possible to buy entry to the 10K at that time… Didn’t run it. Just something to be aware of - no defer or change options. Have had better service from other organisers over the years.

Totally loved this, got my best time for a 10k and this was all down to the lovely people who kept me going. One or two stopped with a kind word when I was struggling about halfway. Started too fast and had to fight my way round for the rest. A special thanks to 55min pace setter. He talked to me for the last 2 and a half miles and kept me on track when I told him I had never beaten 55min. The guy was a legend! I will be back.
