Great flat course in Kew Gardens. Flattest one I have ever done. Pacers to help us keep going. 3 water stations. Will do it again for sure.

What an event! To think that the team pulled this together in four weeks after having to postpone due HM passing is incredible. You would not have guessed that the event plans had been pulled apart by the quality of the event, but you could tell by the sheer joy from the staff how happy they were to be able to put the event on! From the start the comms were clear and the race day experience was great. I'm back running in April the the Kew Gardens 10k and Half, but I can't wait to be back at the music festival finish in September as well.

A beautiful (flat) run, in the most unbelievable surroundings. “This is a beautiful (flat) run, in the most unbelievable surroundings. I started the race in the third wave and after about 1km found myself up with the 65min pacer. I’ve never ran with a pacer before and decided I would try and stick with this group. This was the best idea I’ve had and I can’t praise Phil enough and the group around. I managed to maintain the pace, enjoy the beautiful surroundings and all the different kinds of entertainment around the course, and to top it off get round in 63.33! This race left me feeling amazing all day, all down to the great course, pacer, awesome tshirt and unique medal! And then able to enjoy the beautiful Kew Garden surroundings after to top it off. I will definitely be signing up again next year!” Georgina Stokes

An all round amazing event. “An all round amazing event. How often are you allowed to run around Kew Gardens? I was given the race entry after winning a competition online, and I’m glad I jumped at the chance to go! The venue is fab, marshals are wonderful - singing, dancing, drumming, acting, hi-fives, shoutouts over the microphone, charity stalls cheering - you name it they do it! Not a single complaint about the route, something for everyone. Stunning stunning stunning.” Leanne Shrive

Lovely. “This year I was part of the official pace team for the Kew Gardens 10k leading home the sub 55 minute group. The event is held entirely within the beautiful Kew Gardens which make logistics for runners and spectators very straightforward. It is an 8.30 start set off in waves so get there early as with a couple of thousand runners it is busy. The course is very flat run on the paths that weave around the gardens, some lovely scenery and a good few places to see other others.” Darren Hendley

Second-to-none. “I’ve done this race three times in a row now and love it more each time. Organisation and crowd support is second-to-none, fantastic atmosphere the whole way around and wonderful happy volunteers at the end. It’s not a cheap race but it is good value for money when you consider the top quality Nike T-shirt and fab medal in the goody bag and, the best thing, that you can bring as many spectators in with you and you can stay as long as you like in Kew Gardens after the race.” Shona Grover

Love it. My first 10k race and it was so much fun. Running through Kew Gardens was lovely, possibly slightly crowded but everyone was polite and it just pushes you to do your best. Cool medal as well, def signing up for next one

Amazing route. Amazing route, huge privilege to be able to run through these beautiful gardens. Well organized. Only niggle was long bathroom lines but being a 10K, went with the hold it option. I wasn’t shooting for a particular PB but could see it being challenging in places if I were as the paths aren’t the widest and there a number of turns.
