What a fantastic event! Really well organised considering the logistics involved. Transport to the start line was seamless, registration was so fast and the course was great. Something different to your usual events. None of the crowding (due to the staggered start times) and less pressure as everyone starts seperatly. The course is challenging, not gonna lie, I really underestimated the inclines. But, being a slow runner myself I still managed it with next to no hill training. Really really worth doing this one! Oh, and the goodie bag at the end was hands down the best I have ever received! Lots of really great energy snacks and even a hat!

I won't lie, it was hard!!! However, it was lots of fun, the marshals were excellent and kept us motivated. The whole thing was brilliantly organised, and fun. The medal is absolutely awesome. Overall, a brilliant day that I will do again.

My first running event on my own! - this was my first ever running event. I’m a 30 year old female. I arrived and parked using the postcode provided and jumped onto my allocated bus. I sat next to a lady who was also on her own so we spent the journey talking about all things running! We started out together which was nice and met back up at the end. The run itself is fantastically organised everything ran so smoothly with clear directions. The team were fantastic honestly their cheers and clapping along the course was very much appreciated. I felt apart of something special. I’m so glad this event was my first as it’s honestly made me want to book so many more events. It’s given me the confidence boost I needed. I can’t thank you all enough! The medal and goodie bag was beautiful, thank you.

Starting from the end, the medal is a piece of art, well done to everyone worked for that. The finish line finds the majority of the runners exhausted by the uphill challenge. Scenic views through the canals and excellent implementation of the staggered start. A great run overall 👌

Amazing race, easily to follow and friendly marshalls all round. Nice views along the canal and a good mixture of flat and incline. The staggered start makes it not too crowded along the narrow tow paths. I really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend!

A great race. Beautiful and interesting route with the uphill challenge of the locks. Very well organised and the best goody bag at the end! Free parking at the finish with a free bus taking you to the start. Beware, there can be quite a bit of hanging about - either for the bus - or at the staggered start so do come with some suitable disposable clothing that can be dropped (for charity collection) right at the start. Highly recommended as a different, fun and from the results I’ve seen, fast 10k.
