How To Get There
By Road: If you are using a sat nav, please use Norwood Avenue (BA2 7BA) to get to the main entrance of the Sports Training Village and visitor car parks. Find your way here using Google Maps.
Train/bus: Our nearest train station is Bath Spa, from where buses run regularly to campus. There are frequent rail services from London, Bristol and South Wales to Bath Spa. There are also direct links from the North, with the journey from Leeds taking about 4 hours.
Walk/bike from the centre of Bath using: North Road / Bathwick Hill / Widcombe Hill. These routes involve a steep uphill climb. It will take 30 to 40 minutes to walk to campus.
Walk/bike from the East of Bath to campus using: Claverton Down Road / The Avenue / Claverton Hill (steep uphill climb).
There is secure bike storage on campus.

A number of prizes is awarded, determined by the total number of finishers (male and female combined) in a given race distance.

There is a cut off of 3hrs and 15mins for the marathon runners to complete the first 14.5 miles of the marathon, which takes them to the lap turn around point. After this time runners will have to complete the long half marathon course.
This event is not suitable for Canicross.
