Chilterns 30km

Sun 10th May 2026

Two people walk along a narrow path surrounded by lush greenery and golden fields under a bright blue sky with scattered white clouds. Rolling hills and distant trees frame the serene landscape. A woman in a bright pink shirt jogs along a grassy, tree-lined path in a rural area. The landscape features open fields, rolling hills, and a clear blue sky. A wooden fence runs alongside the path, and the horizon reveals a distant village. A group of runners, both men and women, jog down a leafy, forested trail. They are wearing athletic gear, including jackets and backpacks. The path is surrounded by vibrant green foliage and the scene is bright and invigorating. A yellow arrow sign mounted on a wooden surface indicates a public footpath in Buckinghamshire. The sign features the Buckinghamshire County Council emblem, which includes an image of a swan. The words "PUBLIC" and "FOOTPATH" are also visible. A woman is running along a dirt path through open fields, smiling and giving two thumbs up. She is wearing a blue jacket and maroon leggings, with a hydration pack on her back. The sky is overcast and other runners are visible in the background. Two people jog on a grassy path in an open field surrounded by trees. The person on the left wears a purple jacket, orange scarf, winter cap, and gloves while waving. The person on the right wears a gray zip-up and black pants. Both are smiling and appear joyful. A person in a purple outfit and orange hydration vest is running on a dirt path surrounded by lush greenery and trees, with a wooden fence on either side. The sky is clear and blue, indicating a sunny day. Another runner is visible in the background. A man wearing a cap and athletic clothing, including red shoes and a black waist pack, jumps enthusiastically in the air against a scenic backdrop of a sprawling town and lush green fields under a blue sky with scattered clouds. A group of four people wearing athletic gear run together through a lush green field with a wooded hillside in the background. The sky is partly cloudy. The runners look focused and are positioned in a staggered line with two of them slightly behind the others. A group of eleven runners, wearing athletic gear and medals, pose together for a photo in front of a green hedge. They appear sweaty and tired but happy, holding up their medals with proud expressions. A race event sign is visible in the background. Two people are running through a field of yellow flowering plants on a sunny day. The person in the foreground, wearing a gray cap, black sports bra, and black shorts, is smiling. The second person, slightly behind and blurred, is also running.

This was my first Run the Wild experience and I loved it. I did the two day challenge - 30km per day - and it was brilliantly organised, fun, well-supported and super friendly. Pre-event comms are comprehensive and registration was slick (toilets at the start were a welcome addition!). The guides were friendly, interesting and knowledgeable - they judged the group pace well and I felt nicely challenged (but not struggling) on both days. The pub we stayed in was great! Clean, comfy rooms and delicious food. I would recommend this to anyone, and can't wait to sign up to my next RtW event.
Dear Claire Thank you so much for your wonderful review, we are so pleased you enjoyed the trip! Great running and we really look forward to seeing you again soon! Best wishes Team RtW 🤟
