A number of our partners will also be on course to cheer you on with branded zones. These include the Garmin Forerunner zone at 3k and 8k on the 10k course and 9 miles and 12 miles on the half marathon course, the ‘Special K (Kilometre)’ at 4k on the 10k and 10 miles on the half marathon, the Lululemon Zone at 8.5k on the 10k and 12.5 miles on the half and the ENGIE support zone at 2k and 9k of the 10k course and 8.5 miles and 12.5 miles on the half.

Clint Boon’s Boon Army stage has been relocated so you hear him twice at 2.5k and 8.5k on the 10k and 9 miles and 12 miles on the half. Local Manchester DJ and model, Helen Stelling Holt, will play upbeat party house music, R&B funk and disco tunes at Old Trafford. Before you reach the finish line The Hacienda Zone has been introduced this year to create a club themed area, with a playlist created by Hacienda Club co-owner Peter Hook!

Bag Drop

We recommend arriving ready to run and leaving any valuables with family or friends. However, if this is not possible participants will be able to leave bags in the baggage-drop area.

Remove the baggage label (which is attached to your run number), fill in the details and secure the label your bag before leaving them in the baggage area.

Very well organised Half Marathon. Very impressed with the organisation of the Half Marathon, toilets were placed on the way to the start area and didn’t have to queue for long, start area was simply going left or right. The warm up was fun. The entertainment and support the whole way was fantastic! Loved the mist showers and the lead up to the finish gantry was amazing with the disco under the bridge with the smoke to run through to then see the finish line for a short sprint to the end! Had great fun plus also got a pb! Will definitely be back :)

Fantastic, well organised event. I loved this event. It was brilliantly organised and it was such an honour taking part in the event as a runner whereas last year I was a spectator and even then loved every minute of it. It makes me so proud to be Mancunian: the best of humanity is seen at events like this. Cannot wait for next year! May even do the half marathon!
