Organiser's Description

The spring edition of our Hamsterley Forest 10k race offers an enjoyable event in beautiful woodland surroundings. Along with the woodland paths and trails, participants will be rewarded with magnificent views across the forest and North Pennine Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Your race number and T-shirt (if ordered) will be available to pick up at registration on the day of the race.

Course Details

Both courses are undulating, demanding and on forest paths.

Water stations: 5k

Distance markers: every 1k

Chip timed with a medal for all finishers.
Bag drop and toilets both located at Race HQ.

  • When do I get my number?

    All numbers can be collected on the day Registration is open 1 hour before the event starts

  • Is it open to runners of all abilities

    Yes, we encourage all levels from beginners who want to take their time to club runners who want to beat their time!

3rd Male/Female overall – Voucher worth £20

Age Group Prizes (W35+ and M40+ in 5 yr bands (a minimum of 5 runners in each age band are required to qualify for a prize with no upper limit!)

1st Male Team – UKA Affiliated Clubs (position of first 3 male runners from club)
1st Female Team – UKA Affiliated Clubs (position of first 3 female runners from club)
