Organiser's Description
The Run Northumberland Half Marathon will return to then diary in 2026 in its normal date mid March. This race is our annual spiring half marathon and will be staged at Matfen for the first time. Following the 10 mile route which is two laps of the main section plus an initial smaller loop of 6km to make up the 21km (half marathon route).

Course Details
The route starts around the village of Matfen. For those of you who know our Matfen BIG 10 miler, the route will be familiar but avoids the hills of the 10k route. With one small 5k loop through the start/finish area then following the 2 lap (10 miler) undulating course that finishes on the village by-pass near the start area.
