Organiser's Description
Coming less than a week after the UK Summer Solstice, the second leg of the 2017 Castle Triathlon Series will take place at Cholmondeley Castle in Cheshire during the long, bucolic days of June. An open water swim in the beautiful Deer Park Mere Lake, transitioning into the technical cycle which circumnavigates Bickerton Hill – the southern most tip of the Peckforton Hills. The run passes through the stunning Estate grounds, with a sprint finish down the main lawn in front of the Castle. The 2017 event again includes an exciting half Iron distance 'Gauntlet' option, 'starter sprint', and also children's races. 24/25 June.
