The Richmond RUNFEST, London’s most exclusive race, just got more beautiful, with the launch of a new 10k running completely inside the Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew, a beautifully scenic World Heritage site. In the 4 years it has been running, the RUNFEST has raised over £1million for charities, and expects to raise even more with this new Saturday event. The 10k is followed on the Sunday by a full and half marathon running through London’s greenest borough. The new course has been 4 years in the making and is not only beautiful, but flat, offering the perfect opportunity for the UK's fastest 10k!

Beautiful course at a beautiful time of year. Only drawback is that the entry to the village was at a back entrance and quite the walk from the station and the Victoria gate that most people are familiar with - though it's understandable that this is done to not get in the way of staff prepping the front of the gardens for the day. Just be sure to leave 15 mins to walk there from the station.
