Organiser's Description

Join us this spring time for a stunning trail run through the bluebell carpeted woods of the Chiltern Hills! It’s a fun morning out on the trails, with trail running tips along the route by our expert local guides.

All abilities are catered for, so whether you want to push your speed or prefer a more relaxed morning out you will be well looked after. As with all Run the Wild events, you will be grouped with similar ability runners and each group led by one of our experienced Run Leaders.

The distance will be around 13km. The run starts in the quaint small town of Tring, set in the heart of the Chilterns and we guide you on a route to see the best of the bluebells. There are cafes nearby at the end for hot refreshments and snacks. The event will finish around 11am.

How to Get There

Tring is just 40 minutes North West of London with train links from Euston. The nearest train station is Tring where there are taxi ranks available or it’s a 1.7 mile walk along pavements. We will be meeting at the Market Place, also known as Tring Farmer’s Market. There is an on-site pay & display car park. Accommodation is available nearby, please get in touch if you would like any recommendations.

Pay & Display at the Forge carpark which is adjacent to the event start.

The event is inclusive to new trail runners and also those who are regularly out on the trails. We will group participants by their ability but you need to have run 5km non-stop in the past (doesn't need to have been a race time). We will cater for the following paces: 7-9km, 9-11km, 11km+ an hour on the flat or road. We stop a few times on the route to re-group and also to cover off knowledge tips. First time trail runners welcome!
