Gran Fondo Quebrantahuesos

Sabiñánigo, near Huesca, Aragón (Spain)

Calle del Gral. Villacampa, 1, 22600 Sabiñánigo, Huesca, Spain

Sat 20th June 2015

Organiser's Description

The number one sportive in Spain, the iconic Quebrantahuesos attracts 9,000 riders each year to tackle an awe-inspiring route through the Pyrenees. Starting and finishing in the town of Sabiñánigo, the long and challenging course passes over the Col du Somport, dips into France for the Col du Marie Blanque, then returns to Spain for the showpiece ascent of the Col du Portalet before the short but steep Hoz de Jaca climb adds the cherry on the cake for a total of over 3,500 vertical metres. It's probably worth adding that the locals call it 'The Bone Breaker'... 2 distance options.
