Get ready for some epic running with another PMC event.
This time we have 2 distinct challenges for you!
The Backyard Teaser and the Perpetual Loop.
The Backyard Teaser!
Cover 4.2 miles, on the hour, every hour for either 6 or 12 hours following the backyard Ultra format.
The distance has been chosen so that those training for, or runners wanting to dip their toe into the backyard ultra format can practise their pacing strategy.
This is a perfect opportunity for those training for a full backyard ultra to practice their pacing stratergy or for those new to the event type to get a taste of the format. This event is also a great way to challenge your mental and physical endurance whilst also experiencing running by only the light of your head torch.
The Perpetual Loop!
The Perpetual Loop gives you the choice of 6 or 12 hours to cover as many loops of the 4.2 mile loop as you can. As this is a continuous event you are in control of when or if you take a break. It's a great opportunity to see how far can you run.
