The route also features a scenic crossing at Ringmer, leading riders into the charming Low Weald before heading westward beneath the majestic South Downs ridge towards Hurstpierpoint. With one last challenging climb past the iconic Devil's Dyke, cyclists will be rewarded with a spectacular downhill finish that showcases stunning views over Brighton and the sparkling English Channel. Organiser's Description

From the start at Preston Park the ride heads East along the South Coast to Newhaven, then cuts inland following the river Ouse as it slices through the South Downs. The route then cuts across at Ringmer and then crosses the Ouse into the Low Weald before heading West below the ridge of the South Downs to Hurstpierpoint. One final push past the 'Devil's Dyke' and it's all downhill to the finish, offering spectacular views over Brighton and the English Channel.
