This event includes the 38th Bungay Black Dog Marathon, Half Marathon, 10km and 5km races. You can also enter the Double Doggie - race both the 10km and Half Marathon on the same day. There is also a 800m Fun Run on the sports ground.

The marathon course is 2 laps of a 13.1 mile loop through the scenic Waveney Valley of Suffolk and Norfol, and is classed as multi-terrain. The half marathon course is one lap of the same loop, and the 10k shares parts of the same loop. The 5k is a measured road route. The site is at the Bungay and District Sports Association on Maltings Meadow, Ditchingham.
