Run Jersey Events seeks to reduce the environmental impact of the Jersey Half Marathon. We will not be supplying or using plastic bottles and are looking to reduce waste. Water will be available at the start and finish. We are looking for a solutions that minimises the carbon footprint of the event and we would encourage you to carry your own hydration systyem (Bottle, hydration pack etc). On the race course water will be supplied at miles 4 / 7 /10 / 12, and we are proud to be using innovative edible seaweed pods as used at London Marathon. This will save over 2000 cups / plastic bottles from being disposed of and reduce the quantity of water wasted.

As part of our attempts to reduce the environmental impact and for your convenience, transport is available from St. Helier to the start area. Please book at registration.

The Canaccord Genuity Jersey Half Marathon supports Jersey Sports Association for the Disabled and encourages all runners to support this charity. The JSAD is very grateful for your support and this enables them to continue their fantastic work, any money you raise will be put to good use.
