The route

Starting at the iconic Aintree Racecourse, we will take you on a journey through Merseyside and Lancashire where you will get to experience some of the breathtaking countryside throughout the area. The route is in an anti-clockwise direction, but you will complete the event by cycling back through to Aintree Racecourse where you will be able to collect your finisher's medal from our team.

25 Milles: Fantastic, flat(ish) and fast - perfect for those joing us for their first cycling event or looking to set a quick time. There are one or two hills thrown in for you to take on; with a total elevation gain of 1,021ft you will feel proud and delighted upon reaching the finish.

40 Miles: With the hills surrounding Parbold in your sights, you will take on an elevation gain of 2,162ft as you make your way around our specially created route.
This route is suitable for those not wanting to complete the full distance, or perhaps for those who are looking for a step up from flatter cycling, this one is sure to test.

80 Miles: Do Parbold & the Rivington surrounds sound like the sort of challenge you are looking for in 2022? We have 4,450ft worth of elevation gain in this route, offering you a challenging cycling route. This route is suitable for those who cycle on a regular basis. We advise that you should be fully capable of completing at least 50 miles prior to the event, and you should love your hills!
