Runners will kick off the race outside The Shire Hall in Chelmsford City Centre, embarking on a scenic single lap course that traverses vibrant areas including the bustling High Street and picturesque Chelmer Village. Participants will enjoy the beauty of the parks, passing through Bell Meadow and Central Park, before heading towards Writtle College and the charming villages of Roxwell and Willingale. The atmosphere will be electric as everyone makes their way to the grand finish line in Central Park, celebrating the spirit of community and athletic achievement. Following the outstanding success of last year’s inaugural Chelmsford Marathon, the event returns in 2015 with a stunning new and improved route. The single lap course will start outside The Shire Hall in Chelmsford City Centre, then travel along the High Street, through to Chelmer Village, returning through the City Centre, Bell Meadow and Central Park. On leaving the Parks runners will pass through Writtle College, the villages of Roxwell and Willingale, and on to the finish line in Central Park.
