A magnificent and medieval half marathon taking place in the beautiful grounds of Chirk Castle. âA sight to beholdâ. The race starts from the Castle portcullis and takes you around the grounds into wooded areas, through the village of Chirk, and back to where you started – in front of the Castle. Undulating and all on road. The Castle kitchens will be open on the day to provide you with a feast fit for a king!
