The Castle Triathlon Series makes its yearly pilgrimage over the English Channel, providing a fantastic and challenging race, with the Grand Canal overlooked by the Château and its gardens hosting the open-water swim. Transition will be within the Terrasse des Connétables with the cycle circuit around the Forêt de Chantilly, and the run through surrounding woodlands and Chateau gardens.

Location

Chantilly is a 2.5hr drive from Calais and 40 miles North of Paris.

Course Details

Chantilly provides a fantastic and challenging race, with the 2.5km Grand Canal overlooked by the Château and its gardens hosting the open-water swim. Triathletes will transition within the Terrasse des Connétables and set off on a fast cycle route which circumnavigates the arrow straight bridleways of the Forêt de Chantilly. After entering T2, competitors will run the surrounding woodlands, the World famous race course 'L'hippodrome' and Chateau gardens, finishing within sight of the beautiful Chateau.

What's Included

All competitors in all races will receive a medal on completion of their race.

Each 1st place winner will also receive a suitably themed trophy, and sponsor’s prizes for 2nd and 3rd place. There is a significant prize pot on offer for the Olympic and Gauntlet race distances.

Competitors’ supporters can gain free entry to this event It is essential for them to present their spectator ticket in order to do so.

The historic Castle grounds are open for exploration, with lakeside walks and nature and wildlife spotting just some of the options for spectators to partake in.

A variety of locally-sourced foods, with succulent hog roasts and wood fired pizza just two of the highlights, with a huge variety of refreshments for competitors and spectators alike.

All Castle Triathlon Series races will feature a bumper event village offering the latest triathlon wares.

A festival theme with live music, a climbing wall, children’s inflatables, yoga and an array of retail outlets and concessions.
