Organiser's Description

The only known race in the World to cross a tidal bay. Historically the quickest route from Lancashire to Cumbria at low tide, the crossing dates back to the 13th century when monks served as guides to travellers. Monks have been replaced by highly experienced guides, but the sands remain as breathtakingly beautiful as ever, and this flat but challenging race is an adventure to remember. Also Cross Bay Walk, and the exhilarating sport of Fatbiking - the bicycle equivalent of a monster truck! Expect to get wet, very wet! From Hest, Bank, Morecambe Bay, in Lancashire to Flookburgh in Cumbria.
