The DT30 trail race is a future classic. Ascending almost 3,000ft from Swaledale up to the Tan Hill Inn (Great Britain’s highest pub), it’s never going to be easy. This 30k race route takes you on a steep, rocky descent into Swinner Gill, before heading off across some of the country’s most remote expanses of moorland. A spectacular gorge and a fast 3k downhill finish through the iconic Swaledale flower meadows at Muker, mean this is one not to be missed. Can be entered as a stand-alone race, or as the 2nd race in the Series Grand Slam - 3 races throughout the year, covering 90k and over 2,550m of ascent.
