Join pureTrail on Saturday 13th March 2021 for the Deep River Trail Races in Exeter, Devon. Now in its 5th year, this event offers participants the chance to race through the stunning Big Woods of Fingle, starting and finishing at the iconic Castle Drogo on Dartmoor. Choose between a tough half marathon or a challenging 10k race, both taking runners deep into the steep Teign River Valley before rising above the Fingle treeline. With beautiful scenery and challenging terrain, this event promises to be an unforgettable experience for all participants.

Now in its 5th year... From a grand setting high above the steep Teign Valley, on the northern fringes of Dartmoor, this is PureTrail’s first foray into the Big Woods of Fingle. A tough half marathon and a 10k race both start and finish at the iconic Castle Drogo on Dartmoor. The trails go deep and steep, down to the depths of the Teign River Valley, then rising above the Fingle treeline. Two extremely tough races in the most wonderful woodland.
