Organiser's Description
Durty Triathlon - exciting, challenging, fun, and a little bit bonkers. Open water lake swim + mountain bike on a combination of forest roads, single track paths and quad tracks, a bit hilly (ahem!), and rough in places + loch-side trail run. New for 2015 - a fantastic, tough course with plenty of climb and ‘interesting' descents, a challenge for the experienced, and the plain daft! The race is based on the beautiful St. Mary's Loch in the heart of the glorious Scottish Borders, a spectacular location in the middle of remote rolling hills and uplands, freshwater lochs and huge forests.
