Organiser's Description

Eroica Hispania is a cycling event inspired by the ethos of the famous Italian vintage bike ride L'EROICA. It seeks to recover the values of epic cycling along one of the most important areas of the world for its wine production - La Rioja - a tribute to the land and its people. On offer is a a very accessible 63k journey between the vineyards and towns of Rioja; a 112k series of climbs, descents, and long rolling hills; and finally, a route which covers part of Rioja Media and virtually all La Rioja Alta along its 198k - designed for fit and well-prepared cyclists who wish to enjoy its paths and roads. A 3-day festival, from 3 June.
