The city of Hull has organised a road race named after North Ferriby every year since 1954; it has changed format and course over the years, and it is now one of the most popular races in the area. A scenic 10 mile road race starting and finishing at Skidby Windmill, Skidby. HQ and parking at Cottingham High School.
